I found the Salt Lake City Library today. I was pretty impressed by the architecture.

Jacob's Status
- Jacob is going to get a free birthday sandwich from Spicy Pickle.
- Since the Word Perfect format didn't work so well, he printed and scanned the letter, and then emailed an 11MB BMP image of it.
- I have a relative who emailed a Christmas letter out in Word Perfect format. I love Word Perfect, but who really uses it any more?
- Jacob made very little progress at cleaning his apartment tonight.
- Jacob is going back to work on Monday.
- I'm back in Colorado, looking forward to a fun Saturday.
- Jacob is leaving Oregon... going back to Denver.
- Happy New Year! I go back to Colorado tomorrow.

[...] Tuesday I went up to Salt Lake City for some adventures and fun. I visited one of my favorite places, the Salt Lake City Library. I got a nice tour of the Beehive House which was Brigham Young’s house when he was governor of the region. I also got a tour of the Conference Center, where I saw the originals to some of my favorite Book of Mormon artwork. I also hiked Ensign Peak just about the time the sun was setting.
