“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.” (1 John 2:23)

“For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.” (2 John 1:7)

John uses the word antichrist to describe anyone who would assume of guise of Christ, but in reality would be opposed to Christ. The Book of Mormon tells of a few antichrists.

Wordpress is the blogging software that runs this blog.  LDSlinks is a plugin that I wrote for Wordpress which will display a number of related LDS links which are friendly to the LDS Church.  These links are provided by the LDSsearch.com search engine.

If you are a Wordpress blogger, and you frequently blog about LDS oriented topics, then I highly suggest using this plugin.  You can download the plugin from its homepage.

By using this plugin, you help your web users and search engine to find positive LDS content, so you are helping to spread the gospel as you use it.  I have no other motivation in creating this plugin other than I want to help promote LDS content on the Internet.

Welcome to my new religion blog titled, Jacob on Religion. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, commonly known as the Mormon Church. I wanted to start a blog that would be a place to share my thoughts about mormonism, religion, and ethics and values. I also hope that I can use this blog to share my testimony with others.
